MEDIA FILE CONTENTS
The Media Kit consists of a group of attached files, all of which may be downloaded and printed; these files cover circulation, advertising rates, editorial content, and printing/postage data that fully qualify it for an independent audit. There's more substantiated data here than is to be found in most other similar trade publications. The data is renewed monthly as each new issue evolves.
The 1st attachment is a single page (WORD .doc) file that lists 38 separate markets in which 13,643 current VT&C subscribers are employed. This is included with a printout of a very important attachment " INDUSTRY888_AUG08." This is an excel file which lists 3,346 companies in those 38 industries. They are sorted first by the broad market groupings, and then alphabetically by company. The primary industries for these companies appear in Column B, and the product(s) manufactured at each company are listed in Column C. This is an EXCEL.xls file.
Next, our R&D list is mainly composed of 8,954 key scientists at the national labs, government labs, and universities. These are well-funded people who comprise many hundreds of individual research project teams, each with its own needs and applications. At NIST alone we reach 719, with 126 more at Brookhaven, 308 at Argonne, 253 at Livermore, 150 at Sandia, etc.
Our third list category is composed of more than 3,600 industry professionals at the companies who make capital equipment. This list would include names such as Applied Materials, Novellus, Lam Research, KDF, Denton Vacuum, Mattson, Semicore, Varian, Oerlikon Optics, Intlvac, Lesker, CHA, just to name a few. We reach virtually all of the major vacuum process system producers in the country. That list also includes materials suppliers, test & inspection equipment suppliers, manufacturers' reps and marketing personnel. Many names on this 3,560-plus list would be potential buyers for your product line.
Our final list group is about 1,669 people, many of whom are consultants, and the balance of whom are employed at vacuum-process-related companies that are small-medium in size and as yet, have no internet capability. For that reason, they can't be qualified by end-product in our primary list that's indicated above. The total monthly coverage for the magazine averages 27,940 subscribers plus any additional distribution at trade shows that might apply. If you need any additional information, please give me a call at 203-454-5678.
The ad rates and the editorial calendar for next year are also included, as well as a readership survey performed by one of the country's largest vacuum component suppliers. You'll also find a copy of a recent mailing receipt and a recent print invoice.
